Actor-director Rishabh Shetty was applauded for his superhit film Kantara. Now, he is all set to start working on the prequel of his superhit film. In the movie, Shetty’s character Shiva is shown to be a descendant of the family that traditionally performs ‘Bhoota Kola’, a form of worship widely practised in coastal Karnataka.

Now, ahead of the shoot, Rishab attended the festival of Bhoota Kola to seek the blessings of Panjurli Daiva.

Before starting work on Kanatara 2, Shetty took the blessings of Panjurli Daiva and attended the ‘Bhoota Kola’ festival.

Taking to his social media handle, Rishab shared a video from his visit on social media, which featured him holding Shetty’s hand during the performance. As he shared the video, his fans expressed excitement for Kantara 2.

One of the comments on the video read, “Waiting, Kantara -2🔥🔥🔥.” Another Instagram user wrote, “I hope Kantara 2 will be more beautiful than Kantara 1.”

Rishabh Shetty had also participated in Bhoota Kola after the success of Kantara with the film’s team. While sharing a video from the same, Shetty wrote, “You surrender to the nature & worship the God, who has bestowed you with such success n freedom in life. #Kantara team witnessed the divine in real form & took the blessings of Daiva!”

Initially, Kantara had a rather unimpressive release in Karnataka in September 2022, however, following strong word of mouth, the film’s dubbed version was released across the country and people embraced the film.
